NOTE: SOMETHING I JUST FOUND OUT IS THAT YOU CAN ONLY USE THIS PROGRAM TO
CHANGE THE BACKGROUND TO A PICTURE THAT IS IN THE MAIN WINDOWS DIR
OR WHEN YOU REBOOT WINDOWS THE NEW BACKGROUND WILL NOT SHOW UP RIGHT.
I AM STILL TRYING TO FIND OUT THE PROBLEM AND AS SOON AS I DO, I WILL
FIX IT AND UPLOAD A NEW UPDATED VERSION, SORRY FOR THE BUG FOLKS.
This program utilizes an excellent little program written by a man named
Ralph Smith that will change the wallpaper easily without having to go all
the way through the menus to change it. The only thing I thought would make
the program better is for it to have an interface that would allow you to
flip throughout the directory system and find the one you want, and if you
don't like it, just click on another one and its changed. The file PAPER.EXE
is the program written by Ralph Smith that I am talking about, and you can
also select RUN from the Program Manager and simply put the new wallpaper
name after it, that it the only way the original program worked, but I have
added an interface that makes everything simpler. To change the wallpaper,
just search through the drives with the directory and file listings and when
you find the right one, just double-click on it and its done. In order for
these programs to function properly you must have them in the same directory
so that BMPCHNG.EXE can find PAPER.EXE without problems. You also must have
the Visual Basic Run-Time file called VBRUN100.DLL in your path, it can be
found on almost any BBS there is. If you have any questions or suggestions
then please send me a letter or contact me at the following address........
